Who Needs Homework?

We know homework is an important assignment for students. And I believe homework is not only for students but also for teachers. What does it mean? It signs that teachers need to prepare the lesson material before teaching. As we know now day, there are many teachers that teach only based on their knowledge in the past time without review it anymore. I am sure they must have missed some points of the material. Preparing the lesson material should be a necessity for teachers. Remember that the success of education is from the educator. There are many reasons why teachers need preparation. First, it ensures the teachers that they master the material. Although the teachers ever studied the lesson, but you know, the knife will be dull if it is never sharpen. Second, it makes the teachers look very convincing in teaching. The teachers confident in teaching can establish the belief from the students to the teachers. The belief is important. If teachers lost the student’s belief, the students would not need teachers anymore. Teachers lost their power. Third, teachers are someone to follow, model, or example for their students. It means that all of the teachers’ behaviors are imitated by the students and the way of their teaching is no exception. Of course, the student able to identify which teacher is ready to teach or not. So, to be a teacher is not an easy job. Teachers need prepare the lesson material well before going to the class. Teaching is not easy. It is like a war, and we need prepare everything well to face and to win the war.

I am a cheerful girl. We have once life in this world and we have eternal life after died. So, you should enjoy it. Doing something that makes me and other people happy everyday is my way to enjoy my life. That makes me look cheerful every time. My name is Awalita Isnanti. My friends call me awalita, I think that is a long name. I was born on 27^th September in my lovely village Banarjoyo. My last name is taken from my father’s name Isnanto, because I’m a girl the last letter O is changed to be I, Isnanti. This is such a special name. My father was born in Banarjoyo on 12^th August. My father is a farmer and he is also a carpenter.  Siti Khomaryah is my mother’s name. She was born in Kediri on 22^th December. It  means that my mother was born in the mother day. She is a housewife.  Banarjoyo is my village. I live with my parents and my two lovely brothers there. We have a very peaceful life. For about 15 years I lived in my village. All of my times almost wasted there, and my childhood was no exception. Nothing was special in my childhood, it was merely like other children who wasted their time to play. I was so bored, doing same things in the same place every day. So, in 2006 I decided to continue my study at metro, SMK Negeri 1 Metro. This place gave me many opportunities, especially on the development of my English skill. In the end of my time at that school, I had a dream became a teller. My school has cooperated with Eka Bank to recruit the best graduate students to be their new staff every year. I had waited for it, but Allah had other plan for me. I couldn’t make my dream come true, but I’m happy because of it. I know this is the best. If I’m a teller, I can’t get a wide knowledge from Mr. Dedy right now. All praise is to Allah, I know you love me so much.

Argumentative Text - HAVING BOYFRIEND OR GIRLFRIEND HELPS THE STUDENT LEARNING

In this world, Allah has said that human live in pairs. There are man and woman. So, it is very natural when they are falling in love. But, how about having a boyfriend or girlfriend in the school time? It helps your study or disturbs you? Everybody has different opinion about it. Some people may think negatively, but let’s see the positive side that have boyfriend or girlfriend helps your learning.

First, boyfriend or girlfriend can be the motivator. Motivation is the reason why somebody does something or behaves in a particular way. It is very important; everybody needs motivation to do something excitedly. School time is the best time for children to get motivation continuously, so they have desire to study hard and develop themselves well and their pair is the best motivator.

Second, having boyfriend or girlfriend lost the inferior feeling. Having boyfriend or girlfriend is very common today. Sometimes people who don’t have pair feel very shame, they may think they are ugly, stupid, or other bad think and they will feel inferior.  Inferior is bad, especially for student. It can obstruct students to develop their ability maximally, because they feel different. It means that having boyfriend or girlfriend make somebody to be more confidence.

Third, in this globalization era, everything is to be more complicated. Indonesian’s religion, culture, economy and so on is influenced by the western and Indonesian’s young life style is no exception. So, it is very difficult to find someone who good inside without we do approaches. These approaches that we know it as having an affair are the way to teach the young to be mature because of the problems on their relation with their boyfriend or girlfriend.

We can’t deny that some people think having boyfriend or girlfriend is not suitable with our culture. We are the eastern. We are affable, polite, respect, and so on. The wrong thing of having boy friend or girl friend is sometime the young ignore the tradition which their parents very respect it. For the example, the hundred cases of the pregnancy before married, abortion, narcotic, etc. So, it makes the parents worry about their children. In the other hand, the young can’t avoid the globalization effects. The right thing in this case is the parent should give a good guide for their children to minimize the bad effect of globalization.

All of thing depend on us, it means good or bad is our choice. The bad assumption of having boy friend or girl friend comes from the bad cases that happened because of it. But, don’t forget to see the good side of having an affair. We live in this world need one another and we can’t perfect without our pair.
